The Himalayan Bites Story

After spending more than thirteen years working in the corporate sector in Pakistan’s major cities, I realized that professional experience is valuable, but true fulfillment often comes from building something meaningful.

Being originally from Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, I had long dreamed of promoting the organic dry fruits, nuts and the traditional products made from them, of our region to people living in big cities, where much of the food available today is highly processed.

Today, I am turning that vision into reality through Himalayan Bites (SMC-Private) Limited, a registered company and online store dedicated to bringing the natural, organic richness of Gilgit Baltistan to customers across Pakistan and, gradually, beyond.

Our offerings include traditional Walnut Kilao, Raw Mountain Honey, Salajeet (Shilajit), Sea Buckthorn products, and more; sourced from the pristine valleys of Gilgit Baltistan, where the natural environment and traditional practices help preserve their organic quality, purity, nutrition, and authentic taste.

Through Himalayan Bites, my aim is simple: to connect people with the natural goodness of the mountains of Gilgit Baltistan while sharing the heritage of our region with a wider community.
